Slot Glossary

38 terms covering Gambleman's four bonus routes (Fortune Wheel, Lucky Re-Spin, Fortune Draw, Bonus Pop), Hearts jackpot path to 5,000x, and the compact 3×3 Irish-themed grid.

Autoplay

Spin the reels automatically for a set number of rounds. Pick how many spins and optional stop conditions (stop on Fortune Wheel trigger, stop on Bonus Pop, stop on Hearts jackpot win). Useful for grinding the compact 3×3 grid where bonus features fire frequently.

Base Game

Regular gameplay before bonus routes activate. Gambleman's base game runs across 5 Lines on the 3x3 grid — a compact 3×3 layout. High volatility means most session profit comes from the four bonus routes (Fortune Wheel, Re-Spin, Draw, Pop) rather than steady base-game line wins.

Bonus Buy (Feature Buy)

Skip the base game and jump straight into Fortune Draw. Gambleman offers Bonus Buy at 100x bet (RTP 96.07%, average return ~70x). The buy maintains base RTP — typical Endorphina structure. UK and Sweden block Bonus Buy by regulation.

Bonus Pop

Gambleman's unpredictable wildcard mechanic. Any base spin can fire Bonus Pop without warning — no scatter or combo required. When it pops, you get an instant credit award between 5x and 100x stake stacked onto whatever the spin already paid. Trigger rate sits around 1 in 220 spins. The feature exists to keep the compact 3×3 grid lively between feature triggers.

Cascading Reels (Tumble)

After a winning combination resolves, winning symbols disappear and new ones drop into place. Gambleman doesn't use cascades — wins resolve once per spin via 5 paylines. The replay action comes from Lucky Re-Spin (locked-symbol re-spin) and the four bonus routes rather than in-spin cascade chains.

Cluster Pays

Gambleman doesn't use cluster pays. Wins resolve through 5 fixed paylines on the 3×3 grid. Cluster pays would require connected groups of matching symbols anywhere; Gambleman's compact format keeps the line-win structure with bonus features providing the value escalation.

Clubs Jackpot

Gambleman's third-tier jackpot in Fortune Draw. Picking the Clubs suit awards 250x stake. Mid-tier prize — meaningful but not session-defining. RNG draw probability for Clubs is ~22% of all Fortune Draw picks. Sits between Spades (50x) and Diamonds (1,000x) in the suit hierarchy.

Dead Spin

A spin that returns absolutely nothing. Gambleman's high volatility produces dead spins around 65% of the time at base game. Bonus Pop can fire on any spin including dead spins, converting "no-pay" rounds into instant 5x-100x rewards. The frequent Bonus Pop possibility softens the dead-spin drought feel.

Diamonds Jackpot

Gambleman's second-tier jackpot in Fortune Draw. Picking the Diamonds suit awards 1,000x stake. Major-tier prize. RNG draw probability for Diamonds is ~13% of all Fortune Draw picks. Sits between Clubs (250x) and Hearts (5,000x) in the suit hierarchy.

Feature Trigger Rate

How often any bonus route activates. Gambleman's combined feature rate is meaningfully higher than typical 5-payline slots — Fortune Wheel ~1 in 100 spins, Lucky Re-Spin ~1 in 60 spins (after near-miss combos), Bonus Pop ~1 in 220 spins, Fortune Draw via 3 fortune symbols ~1 in 320 spins. Multiple trigger paths.

Fortune Draw

Gambleman's headline feature — pick a card from four suits, each tied to a different jackpot tier. Hearts pay the top 5,000x prize, Diamonds drop to 1,000x, Clubs hit 250x, Spades award 50x. Three fortune symbols across reels 1-2-3 trigger entry, OR the Fortune Wheel can land you straight in. Picks are RNG-driven, but suit weighting matches the payout hierarchy.

Fortune Wheel

Gambleman's wheel-spin bonus. Triggered from a wheel symbol on reel 3. Kicks off a spin with segments holding instant cash, multipliers (x2-x10), or routes into the Fortune Draw card pick. Each segment lands roughly equally, but high-value segments are weighted slightly lower. The Fortune Wheel is the most reliable bonus trigger path — most sessions see multiple Fortune Wheel activations.

Free Spins

Bonus rounds where you don't pay the stake. Gambleman doesn't use traditional Free Spins — instead it offers four distinct bonus routes (Fortune Wheel, Lucky Re-Spin, Fortune Draw, Bonus Pop). The structural difference produces more variety than typical slot Free Spins formats.

Hearts Jackpot

Gambleman's top-tier jackpot in Fortune Draw. Picking the Hearts suit awards 5,000x stake — the maximum payout in the slot. RNG draw probability for Hearts is the rarest at ~5% of all Fortune Draw picks. The 5,000x is reachable but requires both a Fortune Draw trigger AND favorable suit RNG.

Hit Frequency

How often Gambleman lands any winning combination. The hit rate sits around 35% — about 1 in 3 spins pays something. Above standard for high-volatility designs because Bonus Pop fires on dead spins to boost effective hit rate. The 5-payline format produces frequent small wins; large wins concentrated in Fortune Draw and Fortune Wheel triggers.

Lucky Re-Spin

Gambleman's near-miss recovery mechanic. Fires after specific near-miss combinations: certain symbols lock in place while the other reels re-spin once for free. The locked positions don't move, giving you a second swing at completing a paying line. Different from typical re-spins — triggered by specific combo patterns rather than scatter counts.

Max Win

The absolute maximum a slot can pay on a single round. Gambleman caps at 5,000x — exclusively reachable through the Hearts jackpot in Fortune Draw. Estimated probability: Fortune Draw trigger (~1 in 320 spins) × Hearts pick (~5%) = ~1 in 6,400 base spins for any Hearts hit. That's the only path to the maximum.

Max Win Cap

Once Gambleman hits 5,000x, the round ends immediately. The 5,000x cap is structurally the Hearts jackpot — there's no other way to reach it. Endorphina deliberately tied the max win to the Fortune Draw mechanic rather than allowing alignment-based max wins through line combinations.

Megaways

A Big Time Gaming licensed mechanic with up to 117,649 ways to win. Gambleman doesn't use Megaways — uses 5 Lines on a compact 3x3 grid. The 3×3 format is incompatible with Megaways which requires multi-row grid expansion. Endorphina has Megaways-licensed titles in their catalog but Gambleman stays compact.

Multiplier

A value that multiplies your win. Gambleman's base game uses no multipliers. The Fortune Wheel awards x2-x10 multipliers as one of its segment options. Bonus Pop awards instant credit (5x-100x) which functions as a multiplier-equivalent. Fortune Draw jackpot prizes (50x-5,000x) are flat-prize values rather than multipliers applied to current bet.

Paylines

Predefined lines across the reels where matching symbols form a win. Gambleman runs on 5 Lines on a 3x3 grid. Lines pay left-to-right starting from reel 1. The 5-line count is unusually low — concentrates win value while keeping the compact 3×3 grid manageable. All 5 lines are always active.

Paytable

The reference chart showing each symbol's payout for matching combinations. Access through the game's info menu. Gambleman's premium symbols (Leprechaun character, gold pot, four-leaf clover) pay the most. Mid-tier symbols include Irish imagery (horseshoe, harp, beer mug). Card royals (A/K/Q/J/10) fill out the bottom across the 5-line layout.

RNG (Random Number Generator)

The cryptographic algorithm determining every spin outcome. Endorphina uses GLI-certified RNGs — independently audited for fairness in regulated EU markets. Each spin in Gambleman is independent of the last; previous Fortune Wheel results, Lucky Re-Spins, or Fortune Draw picks have zero influence on future outcomes. Bonus Pop triggers are pure RNG.

RTP (Return to Player)

The theoretical percentage of wagered money a slot returns over millions of spins. Gambleman runs at 96.07% — slightly above the 96% industry standard. Some operators may run lower variants — always verify the exact percentage in the game info screen before spinning. Endorphina's standard RTP for compact slots is competitive.

Scatter

A special symbol that triggers features regardless of payline position. Gambleman's "scatter equivalents" include the wheel symbol on reel 3 (triggers Fortune Wheel) and the fortune symbols across reels 1-2-3 (triggers Fortune Draw entry). Both are dedicated trigger symbols rather than universal scatters.

Session Variance

The gap between actual results and theoretical RTP. Gambleman has 96.07% RTP, but a 200-spin session can return 30% to 250% of your wager. Without Hearts jackpot or large Fortune Wheel multipliers, sessions tend to run 60-100% of theoretical RTP. With a single Hearts hit (5,000x), single sessions become essentially unbounded.

Spades Jackpot

Gambleman's entry-tier jackpot in Fortune Draw. Picking the Spades suit awards 50x stake. Modest prize but most-frequent draw — Spades RNG probability is ~60% of all Fortune Draw picks. The "consolation" prize of the Fortune Draw mechanic, ensuring Fortune Draw triggers rarely produce zero return.

Sticky Wild

A Wild symbol that stays in place across multiple spins. Gambleman doesn't use traditional Sticky Wilds — the Lucky Re-Spin mechanic is the closest equivalent (locks specific symbols for a single re-spin after near-miss combos). Different from cross-spin sticky behavior in typical slots.

Suit Weighting in Fortune Draw

Gambleman's Fortune Draw RNG distribution. Picks are RNG-driven, but suit weighting matches the payout hierarchy: Spades ~60%, Clubs ~22%, Diamonds ~13%, Hearts ~5%. Hearts are deliberately rarer than Spades by design — the 5,000x payout justifies the rarity. The expected value per Fortune Draw is roughly 175x stake.

Volatility (Variance)

How a slot's payouts are distributed. Gambleman is rated High — meaning meaningful drought-then-flood patterns. The compact 3×3 / 5-payline format concentrates win value rather than spreading it thin. Bonus features fire frequently but max-tier outcomes (Hearts jackpot) require both a trigger AND favorable RNG.

Ways to Win

An alternative to fixed paylines. Gambleman uses 5 Lines fixed paylines, not ways-to-win. The compact 3×3 format is incompatible with ways-to-win which requires larger grids for meaningful adjacency math. Endorphina's design philosophy keeps Gambleman simple — bonus mechanics provide value escalation rather than complex line math.

Wild

A symbol that substitutes for any regular symbol to complete winning combinations. Gambleman's base-game Wilds substitute for everything except feature trigger symbols (wheel, fortune symbols). Wild substitution on the compact 3×3 grid often produces line wins where adjacent regular symbols wouldn't quite match.

Win Distribution

How total payouts are spread across different win sizes. High-volatility slots like Gambleman are top-heavy — Fortune Draw (with Hearts/Diamonds wins) contributes ~40% of total RTP despite Hearts being rare. Fortune Wheel ~25%. Bonus Pop ~15%. Lucky Re-Spin recoveries ~10%. Standard payline wins ~10%. The distribution skews toward bonus features.

Bonus Buy Restrictions

Some countries ban purchasing bonus rounds. UK prohibits since October 2021. Sweden caps bet sizes during buys. Gambleman's 100x Bonus Buy follows these restrictions. Endorphina's distribution skews toward markets where buy availability varies. The buy targets Fortune Draw entry directly — 100x cost vs ~70x average return makes it mathematically marginal.

Endorphina Provider Catalog

Endorphina is a Czech-licensed provider with global distribution. Gambleman (2024) sits in their Irish-themed catalog alongside other compact 3×3 and 5×3 releases. GLI certification covers all titles. Distribution skews toward European regulated markets and crypto-friendly operators where Endorphina has strong presence.

Irish St. Patrick Theme Symbol Hierarchy

Gambleman's premium symbol order. Leprechaun character (top tier) pays the highest line values. Gold pot second. Four-leaf clover third. Irish imagery (horseshoe, harp, beer mug) fills the mid tier. Card royals (A/K/Q/J/10) form the bottom across the 5-line layout. The premium-tier symbols pay roughly 10-20x more per line than mid-tier symbols.

3×3 Grid with 5 Paylines

Gambleman's grid format. 3 reels × 3 rows = 9 cells. Pays through 5 fixed paylines — minimal compared to mainstream 20-30 line layouts. The 3×3 layout is a compact "classic" format. The 5-line constraint concentrates win value rather than spreading it thin. Combined with frequent bonus features, individual line wins can reach meaningful values.

Four Bonus Routes

Gambleman's structural design choice. Four distinct bonus features provide variety beyond what compact 3×3 / 5-line slots typically offer: Fortune Wheel (segment-spin), Lucky Re-Spin (near-miss recovery), Fortune Draw (suit pick jackpot), Bonus Pop (random instant credit). The combined feature rate (~1 in 50 base spins for any feature) is meaningfully higher than typical slots.
